We all have questions. Wondering questions. Bible questions. Faith questions. Relationship questions. Marriage questions. Parenting questions. Heart-felt questions. Unanswered questions. Meaning of life questions. Big, hard, bring-you-to-your-knees questions.
Maybe you have them too.
Welcome to our “Questions? We Got Questions” conversation. At Eureka Christian Church, we welcome questions. Because having a question does not mean we are lacking in faith; it means we are growing in faith. Questions mean we want to know more, and we want to dig deeper. Questions invite us to expand our views and broaden our understandings.
This conversation includes real questions that members and friends of Eureka Christian Church have asked. When we receive a question, a member of our “Response Team” prayerfully and thoughtfully responds. This Response Team is made up of staff and members of our congregation and includes: Arvil Bass, Jennie Churchman, Ron Crawford, Joe Cunningham, Luke Dalfiume, Jay Johnston, Charlotte Liggett, Lucy Maier, Jerry McCoy, Robin Robinson, Jim Whitaker, and Sarah Zuniga.
This is a diverse group of church leaders who represent a variety of viewpoints. As Disciples, we hold this value: “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things charity.” In practice, this means that we do not always agree on matters of faith, but we are committed to the covenant that binds us together as disciples of Jesus Christ. Eureka Christian Church is part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). If you want to know more about our movement, please visit disciples.org.
Questions? Oh yeah, we got questions. And if you have them too, you can click here to add your voice to the conversation.
