Adults:
For adults, Sunday school takes place most weeks from 9:30-10:25 in the Fireside Lounge (in the Education Building). On Festival Sundays when we have a combined 10:00 a.m. worship service, the class begins at 9:00 a.m.
The adult Bible study class is currently studying the Book of Hebrews, using the guide from the Yale School of Divinity. This resource combines a brief online lecture (ten or fifteen minutes), two or three pages of background material, and discussion questions for each of eight lessons. The authors of the study guide offer the following comments about Hebrews:
“Hebrews contains a rich message regarding the significance of Jesus’ life and death. The style of this writing is not familiar to twenty-first century readers, so some study and discernment is required to ‘mine the gold.’ This study aims to help the learner reflect on each of the letter’s distinctive claims, to understand the context in which they were originally presented, and to reflect on the application of their understanding to a Christian life today.”
All are welcome to join. Questions? Please reach out to Ron Crawford at spiritualcare@eurekachristian.org.
Children and Youth:
Welcome to “We Are Disciples,” our Kids Connect Sunday School program for the 2026-2027 school year! Through engaging lessons, stories, and activities, children and youth will explore what it means to be a disciple, including: following Christ’s example, learning from His teachings, acting with His love and compassion, and giving generously to others. Together, we will discover the fullness of our lives as Disciples of Christ.
Kids Connect Sunday School meets Sundays in October, February, and March upstairs in the Education Building from 9:30-10:15 a.m. On Festival Service Sundays when we have a combined 10:00 a.m. worship service, Kids Connect meets from 9:00-9:45 a.m.
