Adults:
For adults, Sunday school takes place most weeks from 9:30-10:25 in the Fireside Lounge (in the Education Building). On Festival Sundays when we have a combined 10:00 a.m. worship service, the class begins at 9:00 a.m.
The class is currently studying the Gospel of Mark, using an online course provided by Yale Divinity School. Most biblical scholars believe Mark was the first of the four gospels to be written, and it was probably used as a source when the Gospels of Matthew and Luke were written. It is the shortest and fastest moving of the four gospels, yet it proclaims the Kingdom of God is near and challenges readers to become followers of Jesus while understanding the true meaning of discipleship.
