Godly Play is a worship ministry for children age 4 years through 4th grade. It takes place during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service. Trained storytellers and greeters lead the children to the Godly Play room where a special classroom is prepared just for them.
Godly Play is a Montessori-based ministry. Using simple props, the storyteller makes Bible stories come alive, following the circle of the church year. Each week includes an opportunity for the children to engage with the story through art and creative play. Children in Godly Play learn the liturgical rhythms and language of the Christian faith.
